    Agent Spotlight on Cheryl Obijiski

Meet Cheryl Obijiski! After a move from Maryland, Cheryl Obijiski chose Catawba Valley and the Newton area because she loves the small-town atmosphere. Prior to her career in real estate, Cheryl owned and operated a home improvement company for twenty-five years. She has vast knowledge of home construction and renovation. Now, throughout her eight years as a real estate agent, buyers have appreciated her knowledge and experience when previewing homes. Cheryl enjoys sharing her practical understanding of the real estate market with first time home buyers. One of her most memorable moments in real estate was during a final walk through. The buyer’s son took his first steps in their soon to be new home! It always brings her tremendous joy to see the look on a client’s face when they find their “forever home”! In her free time, Cheryl enjoys outdoor concerts, hiking and gardening. One of her dreams is to have a beautiful rose garden. If she didn’t have a career in real estate, she would love to consider mission work, and if she could learn to do anything it would be to hang glide or sing! Cheryl would also love to travel to Europe and has always dreamed of visiting Machu Picchu in Peru. Agent Spotlight on Bryan Heyl

Meet Bryan Heyl!    "Hello, my name is Bryan Heyl. I have lived and worked in Catawba County since 2003. This community has become home to me and my family. I have a wife, 3 kids and 2 grandkids so far!! Most of our spare time is spent visiting and checking out all the areas this great state of North Carolina has to offer. As your Realtor my priority is to treat you like family and to make sure you get the best deal possible along with the best experience possible!"   Bryan loves that the Catawba Valley area still has its small-town charm and that there are farmers markets, festivals and local events. He enjoys going to concerts, visiting local breweries & wineries, but mostly being able to just chill around at his “homestead.” When asked, Bryan said one of his most  memorable sales was, “helping a sweet young family for several months find a home and that they closed the day before Thanksgiving!” His favorite part of being a real estate agent is being able to view homes and having the opportunity to meet new people. While he loves real estate, Bryan mentioned if he was not helping individuals buy or sell their property, he would probably be a home inspector or house flipping.
