October Means it's Time for Pumpkins!

Whether you love them for making pies, for decorating your front porch or for carving jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins are the stars of fall for lots of people. Saunders Family Farm | 4128 Hwy 127S, Hickory

At Saunders Family Farm, you can expect to find pumpkins fresh from the farm, food, live music, and flowers. From the sound of their reviews, people can't get enough of their food selection (especially cheeses!)

Devine Farms | 2675 St James Church Rd, Newton

Devine Farms is a 133 acre family owned and operated farm located in the heart of Catawba County. This season, Devine Farms is only open to the public for picking select Saturdays and Sundays, 3-6pm. Pumpkins in the field to pick on your own are $5 but they also have various sizes and prices available of already picked pumpkins. No pets allowed & cash only.

Johnny Wilson Farm | 5163 Precious Memories Lane, Granite Falls

This local farm has so much to offer! Whether you have a small group or large (make a reservation for a large group!) there is something for everyone. Some examples of activities available at Johnny Wilsons are:

Henry River Farms Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze | 3115 River Road, Morganton
