Kicking off Summer with a Live Music Lineup

As we spend today thankful for the sacrifice of the many men and women who have given their lives in service to our country, we do so with the knowledge that it is only by their service that we have the privilege of looking forward to a summer filled with the freedoms we love and so often take for granted. This day of reflection is one that comes with anticipation as well. Throughout history people have gathered to soenf time together while enjoying music. One of the ways we can honor those who fought for our freedoms is to live lifeto the fullest, take time to gather with those we love, and for those who are able, make beautiful art, including music, to celebrate this life we get to live.

Hickory's music scene has grown in recent years and our music venues have a fun lineup for this summer. People are learning about our town and moving here because it is such a great place to live.
