Meet Cheryl Obijiski!

After a move from Maryland, Cheryl Obijiski chose Catawba Valley and the Newton area because she loves the small-town atmosphere. Prior to her career in real estate, Cheryl owned and operated a home improvement company for twenty-five years. She has vast knowledge of home construction and renovation. Now, throughout her eight years as a real estate agent, buyers have appreciated her knowledge and experience when previewing homes. Cheryl enjoys sharing her practical understanding of the real estate market with first time home buyers.

One of her most memorable moments in real estate was during a final walk through. The buyer’s son took his first steps in their soon to be new home! It always brings her tremendous joy to see the look on a client’s face when they find their “forever home”! In her free time, Cheryl enjoys outdoor concerts, hiking and gardening. One of her dreams is to have a beautiful rose garden. If she didn’t have a career in real estate, she would love to consider mission work, and if she could learn to do anything it would be to hang glide or sing! Cheryl would also love to travel to Europe and has always dreamed of visiting Machu Picchu in Peru.
